Advis Aqua to Manage and Operate Floating City’s Lock Gates and Canal
The Board of Directors for the Floating City Homeowner’s Association has appointed Advis Aqua to manage and operate Amwaj Islands’ Al Marsa Floating City’s canal and lock gate system. Three other companies submitted proposals for the work in addition to Advis Aqua. Al Marsa Floating City, located along the south-eastern corner of Amwaj Islands, is the waterfront housing project consisting of villas, chalets, and apartments each with waterside mooring facilities. Resident’s recreational boats, kayaks or paddleboards can sail or paddle on the canal, between the residential units. Residents can also access the sea via a dedicated lock gate system between the canal and the sea.
Advis Aqua will be responsible for operating and maintaining the lock gate system, cleaning the canal and maintaining its water quality.

Advis Aqua completes Hopper Dredger Vessel Sea Chest Cleaning
The Advis Aqua team and its partner, Al Omran Marine Services, cleaned five sea chest grates on a 110 meter hopper dredger vessel with a gross tonnage of over 7,000 tons. The vessel was berthed in the Port of Bahrain, and is completing checks prior to returning to service. The dive team provided videos of before and after the cleaning to supplement the vessel’s return to service works. The works were carried out from the company’s dive and work boat.

Advis Aqua completes underwater inspection and survey for Four Seasons Hotel - Bahrain Bay
AdvisAqua's inspectors carried out a survey and visual inspection of the beachfront and quay walls at the Four Seasons Hotel, Bahrain Bay. The survey was completed in one day, and consisted of inspecting two quay walls, two concrete wall groynes, the beach's swim line markers and anchor blocks and two marker buoys, their mooring chains and anchor blocks. A condition inspection of the geo-textile beach base and surveying the toe of the beach was carried out.
The swimming area is made up of high-quality, fine-grain veneer sand over landfill. The inspection included identifying any possible erosion of the veneer sand and any indications of loss of the veneer sand. Upon completion of the inspection, the hotel's management was presented with a comprehensive report and video of the entire underwater inspection.

This marine services business unit was established in order to respond to demand for its project management and delivery capabilities. AdvisAvia will continue leading, managing and delivering challenging and one-of-a-kind projects in the aviation sector. AdvisAqua will do the same, but for the marine sector.
